Sponsorship Opportunities
During the past season, the Appleton United Boys Hockey team provided high school hockey fans with lots of excitement and great memories. Along the way to a season record of 21-3, the team beat the previous State Champion, Fond du Lac, three times, won the Conference title, and qualified for the State Tournament in Madison.
Sponsorships are important to the continuing success of the program as they provide funding required beyond that received from the Appleton School district and player fees. The many sponsorship opportunities described here allow you or your company to be a part of the new season, one in which the boys expect to return to Madison. Come on, let’s help the kids!
GAME SPONSORSHIPS
When you sponsor a United Boys hockey game, you show your commitment to the local high school athletes and to the community. As a result, you or your company will receive many benefits. Most game sponsorships are $600 and all include:
- Three 30 second commercials broadcast during your game by AM1570, The Score
- Several “drop-ins” of your name during your game by Bill Scott, the radio announcer
- Mention of your name as the sponsor at the beginning and end of each season game
- Sponsor name and logo displayed near the registration table at the ice center
- Ability to hang your own banner (with name/logo) above the United bench during your game
- A half-page ad in the official game program booklet (available at every home game)
- Six complementary tickets to your sponsored game
- Plaque commemorating your support of the team

PROGRAM BOOKLET SPONSORSHIPS
Our season booklet is a full color (28-30 pages) collection of statistics, history, hockey trivia, player information, schedules and much more. As a sponsor of the program booklet you will have your ad, color or black and white, prominently displaying your support of United boys high school hockey. There is also a page that lists all of the booklet sponsors. This collectible booklet is provided at no cost to all fans at every home game.

RADIO SPONSORSHIPS
AM1570 The Score is committed to broadcasting 10 regular season hockey games plus most of the tournament games. All production is handled by the radio station staff. Ads are not transferable and opening and closing “billboards” are also included.
Season Sponsor
- Five 30 second ads in every game incl. tournament games – that’s over 65 commercials!
- Special pricing of $800 (value of $1,625)
- $200 will be billed monthly Nov-Feb (Only $12.30 per ad --- that’s over 50% savings)
Penalty Box Sponsor (Note - this sponsorship has been sold for the 2008-2009 season)
- Four 30 second ads in every game incl. tournament games – that’s over 55 commercials!
- Sponsor mentioned for every penalty during games with a guarantee of 12 per game
- Special pricing of $1,000 (value of $2,500)
- $250 will be billed monthly Nov-Feb
Other Radio Sponsorships
For any single sponsorship below -- $25 per game or $250 per season – billed in Nov
- One 30 second ad per game, somewhere during the game or
- “Starting lineups brought to you by (sponsor)” at beginning of game or
- “Short handed goal brought to you by (sponsor)” after each occurrence or
- “Power play goal brought to you by (sponsor)” after each occurrence or
- “Goal summary brought to you by (sponsor)” at end of one of the periods or
- “Game highlights brought to you by (sponsor)” at the end of the game
For two 30 second ads per game -- $45 per game or $450 per season – billed in Nov
